Just celebrated International Year of Chemistry contributed to public education awareness of leading role of chemistry and chemical industry in development of civilization. It is a good opportunity and reason to think over challenges being in front of chemistry as a science and chemical industry. It is worth underlining that this year celebration focuses on the question of role of chemistry in Educational Decade and Sustainable Development including mainly preservation of natural resources of the Earth. So the eyes of public opinion are this year directed towards chemical industry. Therefore we encourage looking closer how the International Program Responsible Care ®, which has become eco-ethical conscience of the branch is being conducted in our country.

One of key assumption of the Program Responsible Care ® is assistance to business entities in creation of initiatives that are at the same time publicly responsible, eco-friendly and economically valuable. Undertakings arranged from years by the Secretary of the Program together with companies associated within the Program become a part of the stream. Presenting the 6th edition of our newsletter we encourage you to look on at the projects shown in the ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION. Besides we invite to visit beautiful Torun City where representatives of chemical industry will meet each other on 8th annual Ecological Forum between 12 and 14 of October. Here in our newsletter you will find the agenda of the conference. This year moreover abounds in jubilees of companies associated in the Program.
